Case studies

The Strategy Behind the Result Matters.

Traffic graphs are useful. But a chart alone does not explain why something worked.

Search Experts case studies document the problem, the strategy, the implementation, the evidence and the lessons behind measurable search and AI outcomes.

Where verified performance data has not yet been supplied and approved, the case study says so. We do not publish a number we cannot source.

How a case study is built

  1. Situation
  2. Diagnosis
  3. Work
  4. Measurement
  5. Limits
  6. Client approval

Search Experts definition

A Search Experts case study

A documented account of one engagement: the starting condition, the diagnosis, the work performed, the measured change against a recorded baseline, and an honest statement of what the data can and cannot attribute.

  • Home ServicesSearch Architecture

Turning a plumbing website into a search architecture built around real customer demand

    Challenge
Multiple plumbing services across multiple markets, with a site structure that did not translate that coverage into distinct search destinations.
    Primary strategy
Define service ownership first, add local-market pages only where service presence justified them, then reconnect location pages to the service hierarchy.

A redesign changes URLs, content, internal links and page intent at once — each of which can quietly remove ranking signals the old site had established.

Evidence standard

What Each Case Study Contains

Every study follows the same structure, so comparisons between them are meaningful.
  1. The situation

The business, the market it competes in and the condition of its search presence at the start.

  2. The diagnosis

What was actually limiting performance — technical, architectural, content, authority or a combination.

  3. The work

What was changed, in what order and why that sequence was chosen.

  4. The measurement

The baseline, the timeframe, the method and the numbers as recorded.

  5. The limits

What the data cannot attribute, and what else was in play during the period.

Data transparency

A percentage without context is not evidence. Where figures are published, they name the metric, the absolute values where approved, the source system, the comparison period and anything the data cannot attribute. Date ranges are chosen before the analysis, not after it.

Case study FAQs

Because the numbers have not been verified and approved for publication. A published figure has to come from a real measurement system, cover a stated period and be compared with a matching baseline. Until that exists, the case study documents the diagnosis, decisions and implementation instead of estimating an outcome.
